Warehouse Worker Job Responsibility

Warehouse workers work in warehouses where they receive, unpack, arrange and store goods, and gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatching. Warehouse workers check stock for damage and wear, report faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and mark and label stock.

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities:

Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the work environment.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Accepting delivery of inventory.
Counting and confirming inventory.
Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
Communicating errors to relevant parties.
Marking and labelling stock.
Storing inventory in an accessible manner.
Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.

Warehouse Worker Requirements:

18 years of age or older.
Work experience as a general laborer, preferably in the warehouse.
Ability to operate forklifts proficiently.
Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
Strong people skills.
Good moral character.
Physically strong, agile, nimble, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
Available to work extended hours.

Accommodation

Comfortable accommodation for 3-4 people in a room near the warehouse. Separate rooms for couples.

Clothing

The employer provides the necessary clothing for work.

Salary

The hourly salary for students under 26 is PLN 24 gross, which averages to about PLN 18.60 net depending on hours worked.

Working Hours

Working hours consist of two 12-hour shifts per day, with the first shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and the second shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for a total of 5-6 days per week.

Work Scheduled Breaks

There are two breaks scheduled, with the first break lasting 15 minutes and the second break lasting 30 minutes.

Temporary Resident Cards

Obtaining a Temporary Resident Card (TRC) allows for a three-year stay.

Salary Deposited

The salary will be deposited into the bank account on the 15th of every month.

Training

Before starting their job, everyone will receive training.
