How to apply

An applicant should contact one of SIPT's(Study in Poland ThinkNEw) counsellors to apply for a specific study programme that begins in October for the fall semester and February for the spring semester. Our knowledgeable counsellors will assist you in putting together your application and certifying the accompanying papers. Your adviser will next submit your application to the university or institution of your choice on your behalf.

If an applicant needs a visa to stay and study in European Union territory, he or she should apply for the programme early enough so that a decision on visa issues may be made before the fall/spring semester begins.

Is it necessary for me to set an appointment with a SIPT counsellor?
By filling out our online inquiry form, you may make an appointment with one of our counsellors. We also accept walk-ins Monday through Saturday between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.

Legalization (Authorization) or Apostille

The original of a secondary school (maturity) certificate and transcript of grades or a higher education diploma must be legalized (authorized) or apostille (if the document was issued by an educational institution in a country that is a party to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents, signed in The Hague on October 5, 1961).

Eligibility Statement

As part of the qualification recognition procedure (validation of foreign studies and degrees), The candidate must also present an eligibility declaration stating that their certificates and diplomas enable them to study at the university level in the nation where they were awarded.

Certificate of English proficiency

The language of instruction for the vast majority of courses run at universities in Poland is Polish, however, several faculties offer a selection of programs or courses taught in foreign languages, mainly in English. Candidate must prove his/her English language skills (at least at B2 level) by submitting an accepted by the University in Poland document confirming English language knowledge.

Medical Fitness Certificate

Medical fitness certificate confirming your health and fitness level to be able to undertake your studies. The medical certificate is a simple statement from the doctor saying that candidate is healthy and can take up studies.
