Eligibility Statement
Saying that your diploma allows continuing education at the university level
A document stating that the certificate/diploma entitles to undertake or continue university-level study in the country in which the certificate/diploma was issued (such proof should be issued or certified by the school or educational institution which issued the certificate/diploma or by educational authorities of the country which issued the certificate/diploma or in which system of education the school operates) with translation into the language of instruction of the chosen studies
An eligibility statement is required if your certificate does not come within any international agreement. In case your Secondary School diploma does not contain such information, you can obtain an Eligibility statement at:
- the educational authorities in the country within the educational system of which the certificate has been issued, or
- foreign, accredited in the Republic of Poland, diplomatic mission or the consulate of the country in whose educational system the school operates, or
- Consul of the Republic of Poland appointed for the country within the educational system of which the school certificate has been issued;
Note: The Eligibility Statement does not require legalization/apostille. It can only be stamped and signed by a competent authority
Note: Eligibility Statement from universities in Poland is not required, just upload the main degree in that spot.
Note: The Eligibility Statement should refer to the country/educational system of the country in which the document was issued - not Poland. Try avoiding sentences that state that you can "continue studies in any country of the world", etc.
