According to Devire, Poland's business services sector was resilient throughout the crisis and quickly adapted to the "new normal" by adopting work-from-home methods. Despite the current market instability, industry incomes have stayed stable in comparison to 2019. Soft skills (such as adaptability, self-motivation, commitment, continual learning, organizing, and teamwork skills) are becoming increasingly crucial in the BPO/SSC market, in addition to technical ability. Employers generally want fluent speakers of foreign languages, including English and German, French, Spanish, and Italian, but the sector is also seeing an increase in demand for Nordic languages. It's also worth noting that professionals who are fluent in one or more foreign languages should expect their employers to reward them with bonuses.
