Is this the apex of the podcasting era? It seems like an audio series can be found for anything nowadays. What about any Poland podcasts that you can hear in English? What about us?

The KrakCast

The KrakCast is made up of three English-speaking men who have lived in Kraków for "a combined 40+ years" and meet up sometimes to talk about their daily lives in the city or to debate whatever is causing headlines in Poland at the moment, such as the presidential election, COVID-19, or the Sunday shopping ban. If you're thinking of moving to Kraków or visiting, giving The KrakCast a listen.

POLcast

The award-winning POLcast, which premiered in Canada in 2016, is the "first-ever English-language podcast about Poland and Poles around the world." The aim of POLcast was to establish an English-language audio magazine about Poland that would appeal to the second and third generations of Polish emigrants. According to POLcast, there are 20 million people of Polish descent worldwide, but only 6% of them are able to communicate in Polish. What would you expect from this podcast in terms of content? Everything to do with Poland, in general: language discussions, historical accounts, discussions of culture, art, food, and so on.

Stories from the Eastern West
