Poland permits US and nine other third countries for Arrivals

The Polish authorities have declared that, as long as they provide negative COVID 19 test results, passengers arriving by international airports from the United States have been welcomed into the country since 19 June.
In addition to the United States, arrivals from the following additional countries will be allowed to enter Poland under the same conditions following the statement of the Polish Government:
- Georgia
- Japan
- Canada
- New Zealand
- Thailand
- South Korea
- Tunisia
- Australia
- Israel
It is emphasized by the Government that the tests are not publicly funded, which means everybody must bear their own test costs. The following categories are permitted to visit Poland except in the countries stated above:
- Polish Legal Citizens
- foreigners who are tight families, husbands, wives and children, legal inhabitants of Poland
- A Polish card held by people also called "Karta Polaka"
- foreigners with permanent or temporary permits of residence and those with a work permit from Poland
- People in Poland who study
- European Free Trade Association (EFTA) citizens, the Member States of the European Union, and Switzerland together with their family members
- UK, Northern Ireland, and Belarus citizens and their close family members
In contrast, all persons from non-Solidarity countries traveling to Poland must remain isolated when they enter the country.
However, for the following groups of people the quarantine obligation does not apply:
- People totally immunized against COVID-19 using one of the European Union approved vaccinations
- Persons who provide a negative test result for Coronavirus at the airport before passenger inspection
- Children under 12 travel with their parents who are immunized against the virus or have a negative test result
Furthermore, individuals required to remain independent are permitted to bypass isolation provided they have a negative test result within 48 hours of entering the border.
“Persons who quarantine and receive a negative test result within the first 48 hours after crossing the border are then released from quarantine (this option applies to travelers who have obtained a positive test result at the airport upon arrival in Poland or have not been tested at the airport),” Government’s statement reads.
Transit through Poland is also possible unimpeded if passengers transit through Warsaw's Chopin Airport on their way to the same airports from or to any other third state; they do not leave the airport until their next flight; and if their ultimate destination is third country. They are also allowed, without any further restriction, to travel through Poland.
