US intend to restrart Travel With EU, UK, Canada & Mexico

The White House is collaborating with expert groups to find a mutual agreement to securely ease the COVID-19 limitations and restart travel between the United States and European Union member countries, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico.
According to a White House official, the working groups would include foreign delegates as well as US professionals from the Departments of State, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services. Decisions on travel limitations will be based on the advice of public health medical professionals.
“We heard very clearly the desire of our friends in Europe and the UK to be able to reopen travel across the Atlantic Ocean, and we want to see that happen,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said.
Even though it is unlikely that the US would ease restrictions on most foreign visitors, the formation of such a working group is a substantial departure from the tough limitations on international travel that have been in place for more than a year.
The US State Department stated on Tuesday that it was moving 58 nations and territories from Level Four, also known as the “do not travel” list, to Level Three, also known as the “reconsider travel” list. As a result, the department lifted its travel warning for a number of foreign countries, including popular vacation spots such as Greece, Italy, Spain, Canada, France, and Mexico.
Moreover, the CEOs of six airlines that fly between the United States and the United Kingdom urged US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to achieve a deal that would lift the COVID-19 travel restrictions between the two nations.
In comparison to other states, the United States has been sluggish to make judgments on legislation allowing foreigners to visit the nation.
In May, some European Union member states began to relax travel restrictions for US citizens.
Danish officials recently declared that fully vaccinated Americans will be allowed to enter the country without being subjected to testing or quarantine. Nonetheless, all individuals must demonstrate that they have been vaccinated with one of the European Medicines Agency-approved vaccinations and that at least two weeks have passed after the vaccination dosage was received.
At the same time, visitors from the United States can enter Spain if they have been vaccinated.
Yesterday, the EU Parliament approved the digital COVID vaccination passport, which would allow visitors to travel freely inside the EU.
