Philippine citizens who seek to enter Poland are eligible because the latter has opened the center in Manila for the visa application, which currently offers Schengen and national long-stay visa services.

VFS Global, an outsourcing and technology firm that offers visa services worldwide, has announced this move while stressing that the new center is projected to process roughly 12,000 visas annually, most of them working visas.

The new VFS Global Visa applications center at the Ground Floor, Ecoplaza Bldg., Don Chino Roces Ave., the city of Makati, and the Metro, Manila 1231 Philippines, allow Manila residents to apply for Poland visas immediately.

Poland is gaining popularity among Philippines residents interested in working overseas, Jiten Vyas, Regional Group Chief Operating Officer at VFS Global said.

“Poland Visa Application Centre in Manila will offer customers a safe and secure application process. We would advise our customers to adhere to the precautionary measures established at our Centres for their safety and that of our employees,” Vyas pointed out in this regard.

The VFS Global has stressed that the majority of Polish Filipino people have opted to work in central Europe, while many are active in various areas such as food and banking, and wellness.

Due to the situation in COVID-19, every applicant must closely abide by the rules imposed by the Polish authorities to prevent another increase in COVID-19 infections.

As the safety of our customers and employees is our priority, the company has imposed strict health and safety measures in line with Government guidelines for social distancing at the Visa Application Centres. Customers must have a prior appointment to submit their applications at the Poland Visa Application Centres in Manila,” the statement clarifies.

The Statement states that "all visa applications may only be filed by prior appointment," and that the Center will not accept the walk-in application because of the safety precautions implemented by the country's government.

Poland has reported 2 877,819 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 74 deaths according to World Health Organization estimates.

The administration of the country tries to resume travel by progressively and carefully reinstating some of its visa application centers, which are currently suspended because of the coronavirus issue.
