Emergency telephone

In urgent situations requiring urgent consul intervention, it is possible to contact us by phone:  +354 8445051.

Attention! The emergency telephone is not an information telephone. Contact is possible only in random cases requiring the immediate intervention of the consul (e.g. accidents, threats to the life and/or health of Polish citizens staying in Iceland). The telephone is open outside the hours of telephone availability of the consular office, and on non-working days in Poland and Iceland - 24 hours a day.

Correspondence

Please be advised that your questions are answered promptly. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Reykjavik informs that it does not respond to correspondence (also received by e-mail) that does not meet the requirements set out in Art. 63 § 2 of the Act of 14 June 1960 Code of Administrative Procedure (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 2096; of 2019, items 60, 730, 1133, as amended).

The content of the correspondence should contain at least an indication of:

• the person (name and surname) from whom it comes;
• the person's address;
• the subject of the case to which it relates.

Complaints and motions

The head of the consular office in matters of complaints and applications receives on Tuesdays from 15: 00-16: 00.
