Vincent Pol University (VPU) is located in Lublin in the eastern Poland, 170 km south of the capital city Warsaw, connected by high speed train links.  In Lublin there is also an airport, which has direct flights to several major cities in Europe, including London, Dublin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Oslo. Lublin is a famous centre of learning, frequently referred to as “the Oxford of the East”. To the south of the city there are the Tatra Mountains, where you can try skiing in winter and mountain trekking in summer, and to the north there is the historic city of Warsaw. Travel to the west and you can visit the historic cities of Krakow and Prague. Or go further and experience Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK.

However, you can also start your adventure with Europe from spending time in Lublin itself, which is a historic city, dating back over 700 years, with many well-preserved traditional buildings and old streets contributing to its unique atmosphere. The most worth-seeing tourist attractions in the city include the Old Town, the Lublin Castle, the Grodzka Gate and the Lublin Museum of Rural Life.

VPU is situated close to the city centre, with an easy access for students by public transport or by car. Lublin has many affordable restaurants, bars and leisure facilities, and our students enjoy evenings out in the historic city centre. It is an ideal location for students from around the world, who we invite to VPU.

Vincent Pol University is provided with modern buildings with special teaching rooms fully adapted to the needs of the students of different classes such as physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy, cosmetology, biomechanics, massage, chemistry, tourism, hotel industry, gastronomy, geography and IT. For maximum comfort and security the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and CCTV. The available facilities and technology ensure that all the students have access to extensive libraries (with about 22 000 volumes), innovative laboratories and free Wi-Fi connection, as well as various leisure facilities, including recreation rooms, such as gymnasiums, fitness suites, a swimming pool, and studios for aerobics classes and other sports activities, as well as a student cafeteria, which is a popular place for meetings, offering good quality and affordable meals and snacks.

In 2010 the University founded the Academic Physiotherapy Centre, a modern clinic taking pride in invaluable experience, to be used not only by our physiotherapy students but also by the citizens of Lublin. The centre has the most modern equipment for diagnostics and rehabilitation, and is contracted with the Polish National Health System. Due to the invaluable experience gained from practical classes attended by future physiotherapists it is also a place where students do their clinical practice and where scientific research can be conducted.

Our students have the possibility to study and rest in – “Green School” – The University’s Education and Recreational Center in Piotrawin next to the Vistula River, located about 60 kilometers from Lublin and about 15 kilometers from Kazimierz Dolny, in the area of a beautiful landscape park. The Center can accommodate up to 50 people in comfortable conditions.
